New! Wale and Lady Gaga

This song caught my eye right away, Wale and Lady Gaga on the same track. I'm usually not that big of a fan for sampled beats, but it's pretty dec'. I know you would probably like a picture of Lady Gaga more than Wale, but I noticed he has the same kicks as me-Ato Matsumoto's. So give is a listen, I expect a good bit of downloads.

Wale Ft. Lady Gaga - Chillin' (Prod. By Cool & Dre)

Biggie's Last Party (Video)

So I was looking for music to post tonight, and I came across this instead. If you continue to watch, you will see some amatuer filming of Biggie's final party. This party was apparently legendary. I of course wasn't there, but after seeing Diddy, Missy Elliott, Chris Tucker, DJ Clue, and DJ Ace, I'm pretty sure that it was live. This footage has just hit the net, and I'm thankful to the person who posted it. Unfortunately Biggie is not in the video, but you can here a little bit of "Hypnotize".  It doesn't seem real, more than 12 years have passed since Biggie's death, and his music still brings that fire. Respect to B.I.G., he'll always be sick tingz.

YESS! KiD CuDi is Staying!

Just watch, he says it at 1:29. Check it out for sureeee.

Pimp C, Weezy, and T-Pain!

This is actually Pimp C's song, but I couldn't find a nice picture of him, so I went with this Weezy photo. It be sick tingz, I never knew Weezy had an RR (Rolls Royce) tattoo. So for everyone that was interested in Weey'z tattoos, here you go. Of course T-Pain has been sampled in this song, but it's nice, one of his better songs. Never listened to much to Pimp C until he actually died. Still don't like him that much. It's a nice song, love the beat. Definitely worth a download.

Pimp C Ft. Lil Wayne & T-Pain - Lets Talk Money

New! Charles Hamilton

The beats a bit weird on this one, but it's for the Sonic fans out there. Don't really have much to say on this. I'm sort of losing my love for Charles. I'll still be posting new singles though, because Sonic is still a talented rapper.

Charles Hamilton - More C Food

Drake - "So Far Gone" Mixtape

You know, I actually never liked Drake when I first started hearing about him. After his mixtape "So Far Gone", though, I found myself listening to his songs more and more. The most listened to was "Uptown". Pigeons and Planes pointed this one out, and I think it's worth a post too. This song also features Weezy, which I know everyone has been requesting. No new singles yet on Wayne though.

Drake Ft. Lil Wayne & Trey Songz - Successful

VH1's "Behind the Music" with Lil Wayne

So apparently Weezy's going to appear on VH1's "Behind the Scenes". Heres the MTV report:

The network announced on Thursday (March 19) that the seminal documentary program will be relaunched, and Lil Wayne and Scott Weiland have already signed on.

“We had to rethink a little bit and look at these current artists that are really big stars now, and maybe it isn’t the classic rise and fall,” Krim told MTV News on Thursday. “There’s the classic ‘Behind the Music’ arc, but in this crop we wanted to get some artists that were on top of their game now instead of looking back. And also, just because their big stars now doesn’t mean they necessarily have a great ‘Behind the Music’ kind of story.

“From our research, [Lil Wayne] certainly does. From the fact that when he was a kid he accidentally shot himself and almost died at age 12 while playing with a gun, he went through Katrina, he has [a possible stint in] jail pending. He has all the requisite drama in his life, which I think ultimately makes for the great story. The fact that he’s one of the biggest stars out there makes it the right combination that we’re looking for.

The revamped “Behind The Music” is set to debut in July. As of press time, the air date for Lil Wayne’s episode has not been scheduled.

The Knux - "Fire"

Another VIKING Remix

Some of you might remember us posting the VIKING remix of KiD CuDi's "Dat New New" which was pretty good. Well VIKING's out with a new remix of Akon's "Beautiful" which features Colbie O'Donis and Kardinall Offishall. It's got a clubby feel, check it out. You can visit VIKING's myspace here.

Akon Ft. Colby O'Donis & Kardinal Offishall - Beautiful

New Justice!

So Justice came out with a song titled "We Kids" today. It's a nice song, they do sing, which is okay, but the music itself is good. Check it out if you're an electronic lover.

Justice - We Kids

Kevin Rudolf Redone with CuDi

Text ColorThere was a song titled "Welcome to the World" which featured Rick Ross that was on Kevin Rudolf's debut album "In the City". A few weeks ago, the song was rereleased without Rick Ross, and with KiD CuDi instead. I like it more, check them out for comparison.

Kevin Rudolf Ft. Rick Ross - Welcome to The World
Kevin Rudolf Ft. KiD CuDi - Welcome to the World

Will Roush - Two New Tracks!

I hadn't heard about Will Roush until a little while ago. He's another white rapper, like Asher (that rhymed), and he references Roth a coupel times in his songs. He's working on a mixtape right now titled "Know My Name" and here are two new songs from it. Been a long time samples NWA's "Express Yourself" but adds to it, sounds like a different song. They're both pretty decent, give 'em a listen.

Will Roush Ft. Stat Quo - Been A Long Time
Will Roush - What I Gotta Do Dilla? (Prod. by J Dilla)

Consequence & KiD CuDi - Buggin Out 09' (Video)

Awesome vid, it's sick. This is off "The [Abstract] Best" mixtape. Directed by Rik Cordero and the Cons.

KiD CuDi - Sky Might Fall (Live)

CuDi performing "Sky Might Fall" on Real Douche with Carson Daly. I've posted the song a while back now, but after hearing about the retirement plan, I am going to be dedicating a lot of posts to CuDi.

Snoop D O double G

It took me a very long time to say "Snoop D O double G" smoothly like Dre. This is my very first Snoop post. Truthfully, I'm not really feeling this song too much, but it's Snoop Dogg, and I felt that it should be posted for others at least. The song's actually featuring Tanvi Shah, the vocalist from Slumdog Millionaire-good movie, but a bit overrated. For Snoop, try listening to it.

Snoop Dogg Ft. Tanvi Shah - Snoop Dogg Millionaire

Asher Roth - Lark On My Go-Kart (Video)

Expect a lot of Asher posts before his new album is dropped. Download it here.

New Sum 41!

Sum 41 released their best of album yesterday, titled "All the Good Shit: 2000 - 2008" and, with it, released a new single "Always". I've always been a Sum 41, Blink 182 lover, so I was pumped. I gave it a listen, and I like it. It's classic Sum 41, definitely check this one out, the more I listen, the more I like it.

Sum 41 - Always

Japanese Cartoon New Album!

Most of you have heard of Lupe Fiasco's band Japanese Cartoon. The Indie band is coming out with an album "In The Jaws of The Lords of Death". I actually really liked the first song here titled "Crowd Participation", it's a very upbeat, hyped song with an electro sound to it. Though the second one "In The Jaws of The Lords of Death" which shares the album name, I couldn't say is really that good. It's really similar to their past songs which are pretty weak.

Japanese Cartoon - Crowd Participation
Japanese Cartoon - In The Jaws of The Lords of Death

Flo Rida - Magic (Video)

I think Flo Rida puts out way too many commercial tracks, video's sick though.

Silversun Pickups

This band really reminds me of The Stills, their music is somewhat mediocre but still slightly underated. I've included the songs "Lazy Eye" and "Panic Switch". If you're into smooth indie rock songs where the beat is more important than lyrics, you'll enjoy this.
Picture Cred goes out to Flickr user "Stalman".

Pay$0z

Here's Pay$0z' new single off his album "Success Is A Mile Away" which is said to be coming out later in the month. The song's sick, it features AC who's a pretty talented artist.

Pay$0z Ft. AC - Drivin'

Nero Remixes Again

It seems that often after an artist comes out with a new song, Nero comes along and gives his own input. The song Angie On My Go-Kart, is a retake to Asher's latest song. Nero's is pretty sick, can't figure out which I like more.

New Wale with Curren$y & Tre

A new one from Wale, this guy's good. It's off his mixtape "Back to the Feature" (haha, Back to the Future pun). He's wearing some Ato Matsumotos in the album cover, too fly. It's good, really, check it out. Oh, by the way, it's produced by 9th Wonder, like the rest of the album.

Wale Ft. Curren$y & Tre - Word Play

Classified featuring Royce & B.o.B.

New song from Toronto's own Classified, called "They Call This (Hip Hop)" for some unknown reason. It's featuring Royce Da 5'9" and B.o.B., or should I say, Bobby Ray. Give it a listen.

Classified Ft. Royce Da 5'9" & B.o.B. - They Call This (Hip Hop)

B.o.B. --> Bobby Ray

So B.o.B.'s changing his name, or alias, or whatever, to Bobby Ray. It saves me the trouble of typing the periods every other letter, so I'm alright with it. Here are two new songs that came up on his myspace today. I'm especially digging the first, check 'em out.

Bobby Ray aka B.o.B. - Ghost in a Machine
Bobby Ray aka B.o.B. - Mr. Bobby

Another New Fabolous Song

This is song 1 off "Loso's Way" and I'm diggin' it. Two Fabolous songs in one day; good day. Check it out for sure.

Fabolous - What it Look Like

New Jim Jones

New song by Jim Jones, titled "Frienemies". It's not bad, sounds a little.. meh to me, whatever though. Check it out.

Jim Jones - Frienemies

New Crooked I

So Crooked I was in a shooting a few weeks ago, but he's alright. He's already back with a new song, that I must admit is pretty good. It has an electronic feel to it, and he's fresh. Produced by Komplex, check it out.

Crooked I - I'm Still an MC

50 Cent: Two Albums in 2009

So 50's going with Eminem's approach to releasing two albums in 2009. He'll be releasing "Before I Self Destruct" sometime in June, then releasing a second album a month after Eminem releases his. Read the full story on Rolling Stone here.

New Fabolous featuring The-Dream

A new one, off "Loso's Way". The-Dream's been busy lately, can't wait til this album comes out. It's a pretty decent song, check it out.

Fabolous Ft. The-Dream - Throw It In The Bag

Voxtrot is Back!

I hadn't heard anything from Voxtrot for two years, so it's nice to see them back. It's a new single called "Treanation Party", no idea what it means. This isn't hip-hop, check it out. I also included an older song of theirs I like.

Voxtrot - Trepanation Party
Voxtrot - The Start of Something

New Asher Roth

So the first song off Asher Roth's "Asleep in the Bread Aisle" leaked today, which number one on the album. It's pretty dec', good rhymes. Check it out.

DJ Drama featuring Akon, T.I. & Snoop Video

New DJ Drama song, it's a softer one, off "Gangsta Grillz 2: The Album" which is in stores May 19th, same day as Eminem's "Relapse". Check it out, nice song.

Prom Queen Original

Okay, so we've been getting a shitload of complaints that the original version of Lil Wayne's "Prom Queen" we posted isn't working. I've personally ripped this song, and tested it. It went into my iTunes perfectly, and I added the album artwork and correct mixtape and info and everything. DOWNLOAD IT!

New Busta Rhymes!

New Busta song, titled "Cut from a Different Cloth". It's supposed to be on his upcoming album "Back On My B.S. (B.O.M.B.)". It's a pretty dec' song, I must say. Check it out for sure.

Busta Rhymes - Cut from a Different Cloth
