So here's the new The Killers video for the song Spaceman. It's a good song, and the video's pretty insane. It's weird, but pretty cool at the same time. Check it out.
The Killers - Spaceman
So with the new Kickdrums mixtape Smash the System coming out soon, I wanted to post a couple songs I liked from it. The first is Jay-Z featuring Fitty, it's a nice melodic song, good rhymes, and a nice piano tune, I liked it. It also kinda borrows Chris Martin's line from Kanye's Homecoming, you'll notice it. Second, by rapper Izza Kizza, this one samples some Cypress Hill, it's called Insane With My Pimp Game (Based on Insane In The Membrane). It's pretty catchy, feels upbeat and all.
Eazy-E is one of my favorite old school rappers, wheather he was in NWA or solo. He made Compton proud with his rebellious lyrics; Fuck Tha Police is a perfect example. Unfortunately Eaz passed away, but his voice still carries on. Two of the next tracks are just plain sick for unofficial remixes. The next two are just classics, even though Eaz was only featured in one of them.

So I'm not a big Obama fan, but it's been three days since Obama's inauguration, and everyone around the world is waiting on seeing his first steps. He already stated that he supports Israel in the conflict with Hamas, and released a pretty hefty deficit for his first year, but we'll see. This song, and its remix represent the recent events in the United States. I never imagined a mixed President in the White House in my life time, so this truly is an accomplishment. Obama is still human, not a super hero like everyone makes him out to be. Obama has inspired Jeezy (who inspired Hova) to produce two pretty sick tracks. The live video of the remix was posted a couple days ago, and I know these tracks aren't too new, but the inauguration was on the 20th.

Has anybody heard of Master 3? I just came across this artist today, I checked out his MySpace and I like what I've heard so far. He's a rapper from Illinois and isn't currently signed to any record labels. If there's any new artists that you want on here then you should leave a comment and I'll check them out. I also included a song by Fleet Foxes which I liked a lot.
Neither of these are really new, but they're both pretty unheard of. The first is a track from Lil Wayne again, and he's really doing something different. It's got a lot of annoying DJ tags, but other than that I like it. The first line is actually a Green Day line, so that's interesting, definitely check it out.
XV is a rapper from Kansas. Currently, he's doing a 40 Days / 40 Nights project where he releases a track in the AM and the PM of each day. He raps about girls, comics, video games, and about his settlement in the Coolniverse. This is a song he does over Yeezy's song Bad News off of 808's & Heartbreak. Not bad.
So Terry Urban is a mixtape producer, and I gotta say he's got some good stuff. He likes to put Coldplay together with hip-hop artists, and he was the guy who made Viva La Hova (Coldplay + Jay-Z). There were a few pretty sick tracks on it, I included one in this post.
The first Sick Tingz Softie of the Week is an artist, Christofer Drew Ingle, who performs under the name Nevershoutnever!. This 17 year old guitarist and singer has been around since 2007, and is currently being managed by The Working Group. NSN!'s from Joplin, Missouri and he's a vegan. He starting working on his debut album on the 5th, and recording is expected to take 3 or 4 weeks.
Everybody knows Flo Rida. He first got popular with his single Low, featuring T-Pain, followed by Elevator, featuring Timbaland, and lastly In the Ayer with Will.i.am from the Black Eyed Peas. With a new album coming out in 2009, this Rida's been hard at work. Here are three of this latest songs. He seems to be doing a bit of sampling in this album so far.
The Psycho Realm was a rap group back in the late 90's. It has some pretty twisted songs and the group included member B-Real from Cypress Hill. This song's not as intense as some of there others, but I really like it.

In celebration of the new Notorious movie that came out Friday, I wanted to post one of my favourite Biggie remixes. I saw the movie opening day, and I gotta say it was sick tingz. So make sure you check the movie out, and if you haven't heard this before, deeefinitely check it out.
KiD CuDi is another extremely talented artist upcoming from 2008. He was featured on Kanye West's new album 808's & Heartbreak, and was voted to BBC's list of most likely breakout acts for 2009. You may have heard of him, you may have not, but these are two of my favourite song's of his, especially the first, which samples Band of Horses - The Funeral. I included it in the post. Really though, check this guy out.
Charles Hamilton is probably one of my favourite new artists from 2008. This song is pretty decent, and has Rihanna's song Take A Bow playing in the background.
