Raekwon, Ghostface & Method Man Update

You might've listened to Raekwon's new song "Untitled" posted last week, and if you liked it, or couldn't get into it because of the shitty quality, here's a new version. It's CD-Quality (CDQ), and I like it even though I didn't like the last version. It's expected to be on his new solo album "Only Built 4 Cuban Linx II". Definitely check this out, has an old school feel with Raekwon's fellow old Wu-Tang members Method Man and Ghostface Killah.

Coldplay B-Side

Coldplay's released a B-Side to the single "Life in Technicolor" titled "The Goldrush". I've gotta say I liked the old Coldplay more, but this song's nice.

New KiD CuDi!

This tracks been floating around for a couple weeks, under Track 17, then as a remix of Jackie Chain's "Rollin'". It used to have Jackie's verse at the beginning, but a new version has surfaced with only Cudi's part. I liked it, it's only two minutes, but check it out.

New Birdman & Lil Wayne

The father and son have a new song again. It's getting a little old, their act I mean, but here's Birdman's "Always Strapped" featuring Lil Wayne. It's alright, take a listen if you like their older stuff.

Unreleased Kanye!

Here's some Unreleased Kanye featuring John Legend and Consequence. I'm pretty sure it's not new seeing that Kanye isn't using a voice box, or being too cocky.

Gomez

The band Gomez is coming out with a new album coming out on March 31. They have released the song Airstream Driver, for free download on their website. The song is really nice, the band is great, I really like the energy of their music.

k-os

I've never really been a big fan of K-os until his single "Sunday Morning" came out. Kheaven (given name) is from Toronto though, and has been around for 16 years, so I feel he deserves a post on Sick Tingz. k-os is dropping his debut album "Yes!" some time in March. Apparently, it's suppose to be a double-disk too. No word yet if this song will be featured on the album.

Remix: Intro to Graduation

I found a remix version of "Good Morning" on the Kickdrums album. I thought it was much better than the original. The beat definitely flows much better with the lyrics. The original beat did not work at all. If you're a Yeezy fan, download this for sure.

Freeway and James Blunt

I've been meaning to post this song for a long time. I had to take a doube look at the song name the first time I saw it. What is James Blunt doing on a Freeway track? You're probably having many doubts right this moment, but forget about them. I found this track great, and the James Blunt chorus was fantastic.

New! Lady Sovereign

Remember her? A couple years back, she had that song "Love Me or Hate Me". Well Lady Sovereign a rapper from UK, is out with a new song. The song's called "So Human", it's sick, great beat, enjoy.

Tokin' Black Guy

Hey, I just came across the artist "Tokin Black Guy". Turns out this guy's being produced by Kanye West. I've never heard of him. He only has a couple songs from what I saw on his MySpace. They're really up beat, and a little different from what you usually hear.

New! Pete Doherty Solo Tracks

Pete Doherty, an English musician and member of the band Babyshambles is out with some new solo tracks. You might know him as the cocaine addicted ex-boyfriend of Kate Moss. Very nice songs though, so check them out, and enjoy.

Pete Doherty - Broken Love Story

Dan Black Biggie Cover

I've known about musician Dan Black for several months now, and just today came across a cover he made of Notorious B.I.G.'s song Hypnotize, titled HYPNTZ. Honestly, good job Dan. I'm also going to include some original songs by him. He's said to be a rising artist in 2009, so I hope you enjoy it.

New Raekwon

Raekwon's out with a new song with one of my favourite olds chool rappers Method Man. The song's Untitled (lazy bastards), and not the best I've heard, but it's worth listening to. The quality of the song isn't too good, so we'll post a better one when discovered.

50 Cent Diss + New Fat Joe

For those of you that have seen the picture of Rick Ross as a prison guard, you'll know what 50 is talking about. His diss song is set toward Ricky and his career as a police officer. It's pretty funny, I must admit.
Second song is 50 Cent's rival, Fat Joe's, new song. It features Akon and has a pretty decent beat. I've never really been that much into Fat Joe since What's Luv, but this one's good, no doubt. Seems like all his best songs seem to be about love. Definitely give this one a listen.

Fat Joe Ft. Akon - One

Happy Belated Birthday!

As of yesterday, JT turned 28, and I felt that he deserves a post on Sick Tingz. This track is brand new, and expected to be on "TBA", his third studio album. The beginning isn't the greatest I find, so skip a bit ahead. I'm pretty excited for this album, after listening to FutureSex / LoveSounds.

Working On a Classic: Joe

I recently downloaded the new Kickdrums album Smash the System, and I was a bit disappointed. There weren't as many tracks that I loved this time. "Classic" was probably my favorite song on the album, produced by the Kickdrums. I'll probably post more from the album in the future.
